The Namibian Road Trip

‘Namibia is the second least densely populated country in the world after Mongolia.’ I’d heard this statistic before flying into the country and expected a relatively baron environment, however nothing could prepare me for the sheer vastness of the Namib Desert.

I attacked the scene with an old friend from England, a trusty 4x4 truck, and a shed load of excitement for what we might discover on our 8-day road trip.

The itinerary was action packed; An abandoned German diamond mining Town, the Most iconic dunes and clay pan in the Namib Desert, the infamous shipwrecks of the skeleton coast, the insane wildlife on Safari in Etosha National Park, and running with Russ Cook on his journey to become the first man to run the entire length of Africa.
