Avoiding Death By Avalanche on Mount Chimborazo

Mount Chimborazo in Ecuador is the furthest point on Planet Earth from its core. At over 6200m it is Ecuadors highest point and an extremely tough challenge. Far tougher than neighbouring Cotopaxi.

I tried to climb this volcano to try and become the furthest man from the earths core. The weather had other ideas, giving the mountain its first snow in over a year. Here is what happened.
